Soil remediation and sustainability, through the treatment of water.

For growers of row, permanent and specialty crops — organic and conventional. Scale in drip and pivots, poor infiltration, sodium burn, stalled yields and rising acid and fertilizer costs are water problems first.

The problem

More acid and more gypsum don't fix it.

Cementation

Most western and many southern irrigation waters carry high bicarbonate alongside calcium and magnesium. Every time the water dries — at the emitter, on the leaf, in the top inches of soil — bicarbonate cements that calcium into scale. In the system that means clogged emitters and constant flushing. In the soil it means crusting, lost pore space, slower infiltration and confining layers. In the nutrient budget it means calcium, magnesium and the micronutrients trapped with them become unavailable.

The acid cycle

Sulfuric acid lowers pH on the way in, but adds sulfate and does nothing for the salts already accumulated in the soil. Growers end up buying more acid year over year, adding gypsum, and watching infiltration and yields get worse. HCT's approach is ion exchange and sequestration, not just hydrogen addition and pH suppression.

WaterSOLV™ products

Curative handles the minerals. BC handles the biology.

They are run together, injected separately. Rates always come from HCT's prescription.

WaterSOLV™ Curative

A buffered, inhibited acid formulation with sequestering chemistry. No sulfuric acid, no urea, no added nutrients. Breaks calcium- and magnesium-bicarbonate bonds, keeps minerals ionic and re-hydratable, dissolves existing scale over time, relieves sodium and chloride pressure, and helps restore infiltration. One gallon displaces about nine gallons of 93% sulfuric acid.

Applied
Continuous, flow-proportional injection on the discharge side of the pump
Sizes
5-gal pail (6-pail minimum, mix and match), 30-gal carboy drum, 55-gal drum, 265-gal tote

WaterSOLV™ Curative Organic

The organic-program formulation of Curative, for certified organic operations. Same job, same rates. OMRI Listed — Allowed with Restrictions; classified as a non-nutrient Auxiliary Soil and Plant Substance and registered with the California Department of Food and Agriculture. Growers should confirm use with their certifier.

Sizes
5-gal pail, 55-gal drum, 265-gal tote

WaterSOLV™ BC

An organically inhibited, catalyzed hydrogen peroxide solution — a bio-remediation agent, not a disinfectant. Penetrates and breaks down biofilm, iron-bacteria slime and black-layer waste products, favors aerobic biology and adds dissolved oxygen: continuous chemical aerification. The majority of the product biodegrades to oxygen and water.

Applied
Suction side of the pump, through its own pump. Never into ponds. Nothing is ever added to BC.
Sizes
5-gal pail, 30-gal carboy drum, 55-gal drum, 300-gal tote

WaterSOLV™ Concentrate

HCT's sequestering concentrate, used as an additive when the computed sodium percentage is over 40% or when HCT prescribes extra sodium and chloride detoxification. Added to the Curative container at the ratio HCT specifies.

Sizes
5-gal pail, 30-gal carboy drum, 55-gal drum, 265-gal tote

WaterSOLV™ pHix

Curative and BC chemistry in one diluted, ready-to-apply formula for trouble spots and sites without an injection system. Converts scale, releases bound nutrition, eases sodium and chloride, adds oxygen and helps restore infiltration — no urea flush.

Sizes
5-gal pail (6-pail minimum), 30-gal carboy drum, 55-gal drum, 265-gal tote

WaterSOLV™ GROW

A bio-remediation support product — not a corrective product, not a fertilizer, not a disease-control product. Adds oxygen and reduces anaerobic biomatter in biologically stressed areas, supporting recovery, nutrient mobility, color and vigor once correction is underway.

Sizes
5-gal pail (6-pail minimum), 30-gal carboy drum, 55-gal drum, 265-gal tote

Legacy Analytical Testing

It begins with data.

Prescription without diagnosis is malpractice. HCT's matured analytical methods look at what the plant can actually drink, not what a conventional extraction says is in the soil. The test set covers irrigation water suitability, irrigation water bacteria, available soil nutrition, total soil digestion, and interpretations and recommendations.

From that data HCT sets the rates: bicarbonate and hardness, sodium percentage, bacteria and the soil results. Programs are tracked and trended, so results are accountable.
